RIYADH: Hundreds of young Saudi graduates are to be trained by the Kingdom’s Ministry of Transport after a deal was signed between the ministry and the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) to train 500 people as part of the “Tamheer” program.
The agreement is aimed at graduates seeking jobs in the ministry. It was signed by the Deputy Director General of Hadaf for the Training Support Sector, Dr. Jumaa Hamed, and the Deputy Minister of Transport for Support Services Dr. Mansour bin Saleh Al-Yami.
The ministry will be responsible for supervising graduates, the training process, monitoring the quality of training, designing a training plan, and providing Hadaf with reports on the trainees.
It will also contribute to designing the content of electronic courses in land, air, sea, public transport, and occupational safety and health.
A joint working group has been formed to enhance cooperation between Hadaf and the Ministry of Transport as part of the agreement. The joint working group will also provide representatives from both sides with progress reports.
